We took the Grand Canyon Railway to the GC. Before the train departed we watched a cowboy show. 3 outlaws and a sherrif. It was funny. On the ride to the canyon we learned about the area and the Grand Canyon from our car host. We were also entertained by a guitar player. We arrived at the canyon around 11:30 and had until 3:30 when the train departed. We had a picnic lunch and then walked around the rim. We hiked down the mule trail for about 20 minutes and then back up. It was very hot. I don't think we could make it all the way down and if we did I don't know how we would get back up. We watched some Native American dancers and visited the Hopi gift shop. We spotted a condor. We asked a ranger about the identification on it and we were told that it was just over a year old. On the return train ride we were entertained by another singer/guitar and harmonica player. We saw a herd of antelope. Then before we made it back to Williams the outlaws from the morning show robbed the train. It was an interesting experience!
Glad you're having a great time! Not sure how you're fitting all of these pictures onto your full memory disk ;-). Can't wait to see where you go next!
